HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) is the most popular geomembrane, especially in the international community thanks to it's cost and availability. This plastic is tough enough to stand up to UV Exposure and is resistant to many chemicals leading to use in animal waste ponds, exposed mining pits and waste water treatment ponds.

PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) is an extremely popular choice in lining material. PVC is very flexible and has a high puncture strength. This flexibility lends itself to underground lining to prevent contamination of existing resources or lining above ground water reservoirs.

LLDPE (Linear Low Density Polyethylene) smooth geomembrane liners are the ideal choice for applications which require significant material flexibility, in addition to strength and durability.  LLDPE liners have the ability to elongate under stress, allowing them to maintain their integrity under localized differential settlement conditions without puncturing, tearing, or cracking. Combined with outstanding resistance to low temperatures and ultraviolet exposure, these liners are ideal for many applications.

EPDM is a synthetic rubber, highly flexible stable material that is not only easy to work with, but long lasting and aquatic safe.

Lightweight, flexible polyethylene construction film offers economical all-weather protection indoors or out. Known as "Visqueen" film - a brand name, although this is a commodity plastic product.

Dura-Skrim® Reinforced Polyethylene Films, available in thickness from 2 mils to 20 mils, are manufactured by interlaminating a layer of woven polyester scrim between two or more sheets of polyethylene film. The scrim reinforcement responds quickly to tears by surrounding and stopping the tear.
